TX RX Systems, Inc. was founded in 1976 by Dan Kaegebein and Elliott Johnson. The company's headquarters is in Angola, NY, a suburb of Buffalo.
Led by Dan’s technical ingenuity and Elliott’s business acumen, the company quickly became the industry leader in providing RF Conditioning products in the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) market, aided by breakthrough inventions such as the T-Pass® Transmit Combiner, Auto-Backup® Tower Top Amplifier, wideband collinear Base Station Antennas, and a suite of high performance RF filters and duplexers. Over the years, TX RX’s RF Conditioning Products have played a critical part in improving and optimizing numerous mission critical radio networks for both Public Safety and Enterprise Two-Way radio users. The name “TX RX” has become the gold standard in the industry for high performance and high quality in both products and services.
TX RX Systems was acquired by Bird Technologies Group in 1995. Over the next twenty plus years, TX RX steadily grew the business and expanded into new markets. Building upon its reputation of providing customized system solution for the most challenging RF projects, TX RX became the “go-to supplier” for LMR applications in VHF, UHF, 700/800 MHz, and 900 MHz frequency bands.
In 2018, Indutrade acquired TX RX Systems from Bird Technologies. TX RX joined Combilent, a Danish company also owned by Indutrade, to form the Combilent Group. Combilent used to be a competitor to TX RX, but now the two companies together offer a deeper and broader solution portfolio to both the OEM and Field Engineering markets worldwide. The new TX RX continues the tradition of offering best-in-class solutions to our customers, while leveraging the combined strength and resources of both companies in R&D, operations, and customer support. We are BETTER TOGETHER serving our customers.
TX RX Systems is dedicated to support our customers by providing Customer Service Support for all products. Our standard warranty period is 1 year, but we also provide cost-effective, timely repairs for all products well beyond the warranty period.
